Friday the temps crawled into the 60s so we ran our errands by way of the beach. It was nice to see our old friends - the white sand, crashing waves, and busy birds. It had been way too long since we'd visited.
Admittedly, the water was extremely cold (our feet were numb) and Addie was more interested in my necklace than anything else (although a bird did catch her eye), but it was still good to get our toes in the sand.
Saturday we made it to a high school basketball game, where Sabian's name was drawn for the chance to win $175 if he sank a free throw. Sadly, we went home minus the money, but we still had a good time.
I am thankful for another laid back weekend. A good dinner with friends and some general laid back-ness.
